Nadia & Marcelo - Sept. 23, 2006

Another great day! Nadia & Marcelo were married this weekend at St. David's Church where we later went to Pearson Convention Center for the reception. Our entertainment for the night was Veriation Music.

And this little piggy went to market and scored 2 rings! We sort of........very quietly......stepped into Knox Collage (for about 4 seconds) and managed to grab this shot before getting kicked out. We did have a permit for shooting at the University of Toronto, but apparantly, Knox Collage is separate from the collage. But that's ok because this shot is exactly what I was aiming for!

Both Nadia and Marcelo's parants are VERY sweet people. This intimate prayer photo of Marcelo's mom and dad was taken during the ceremony.
Little Cristina all smiley!
Fall is my favorite time of year. The colours are just starting to come alive. I love it! Our videographer for the day was Andrea from Digital Memories Studio. She was great to work with.....and I love the way she captured those candid, arial shots!
Marcelo was very calm and relaxed. His swimming pool made an awesome backdrop!
Gotta get the shoes!

Linda & Giancarlo - Sept. 16, 2006

A wedding I've been waiting for all year. You might remember Linda & Giancarlo from their water shot engagement posts. Well, if not you can see them here. They were married this weekend at the Old Mill. (Where I have shot 2 weekends in a row now!) We then traveled to Famee Furlane for the reception.

Linda's sister, Cathy, is always smiling, for as long as I've known her. This couple are total animal lovers! I was in heaven! Giancarlo has a dog, bird, bunny and a kazillion fish in a huge tank (and that's all in his bedroom alone). He also has 3 other dogs, a few turtles, and a cat named "Oreo"!

The yellow fish noticed me taking his picture, and quickly turned away. (camera shy) And here's the all famous........"Buddy"

Linda.....waiting.....just a couple minutes before the ceremony began.Everyone was all smiles during the ceremony. There so cute.
I just LOVED Linda's choice of dress! It is so different, and totally suited her. She wore it well!

The guys were alot of fun to work with. Of course, I think they thought I was crazy lying on my back in the middle of the road! (Someone mentioned something about "Photographers Gone Wild"! )

Lee & Jeff - September 9, 2006

Lee & Jeff were married at the Old Mill, in the chapel. Lee was so excited all day! (She's known for her constant joy and giddiness) Cute....... Jeff and the guys got ready at the Delta Hotel in Mississauga. Since we were waiting at Lee's house for her to arrive from the salon, I got to play with her adorable ferrets! She has 3 of them! (Just don't call them weasels....they get very upset) :o)The chapel at the Old Mill just photographs so incredibly. It is extremely dark in there which gives an intimate, dramatic mood.
Glad to report that the rain held out!

Melissa & Gareth - September 2, 2006

I can't believe all the rain we have been getting this month. Today was another rainy one. Melissa's father owned this beautiful vintage car which worked out really well.

Here's Sara and Fletcher. Sara was having her hair done and made an adorable flower girl. Fletcher was once a cat........(in case you're wondering) :o)

We photographed the formals at the Tannery Mall in Newmarket.

Some fun on the escalaters !

The reception took place at Verdi Banquet Hall. Our DJ for the evening was Jason from EJ Entertainment

Mmmmmm.........tasty panini!
